From Frances Seward to Susan B. Anthony Lecture
Exploring the direct connections between Frances Seward and Susan B. Anthony— including the latter’s visit to the Seward House and a shared relationship with Elizabeth Cady Stanton—Allison Hinman will discuss how the history of the Women’s Rights Movement can be read through their lives. For Hinman, Deputy Director at the National Susan B. Anthony House and Museum, these two figures represent different generations, each with their own approach and understanding about the fight for equality. This lecture will take place at the Equal Rights Heritage Center, tickets are $10 for Non Museum Members, and free for Museum Members.
