Lunchtime Lecture: “Blessings of Fruitful Fields and Healthful Skies”: Lincoln, Seward, and Thanksgiving

Seward House Museum Director of Education Jeff Ludwig explores how Abraham Lincoln and William Seward established Thanksgiving as a national holiday in hopes of uniting the country amid the Civil War. This event will take place at the Equal Rights Heritage Center and is free and open to the public.
